For the Love of Laura Beth: Life-Inspired Christmas Romance

My latest novella, which includes the Korean War, will release December 7, the anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. It’s a day I always played FDR’s speech for my first graders. We have a family full of veterans, and the emotional speech always affects me.

White Christmas was first sung by Bing Crosby on Christmas Day, 1941, just after the Pearl Harbor attack. When Bing took his show on the road for U.S. troops during WWII, he originally resisted adding the song to his agenda. He was afraid it would make the soldiers homesick but was surprised at unending clamor for the song at each stop.

My father-in-law, a veteran of the Korean War, remembers it was still a favorite request then and continued to be throughout his, and then Bob Hope’s troop tours.

For the Love of Laura Beth follows my in-laws early years as they fall in love, survive the Korean War and their own family loss at home. It is a tear-jerking but inspirational story of love, loss, despair and hope. This couple is my real-life confirmation that love can conquer all. I hope you enjoy it.

The price will remain at .99 only until December 15th, so grab your copy now.

  1. I think that there is a book in the box, along with some Christmas cheer of some sort. Or maybe a scarf (just because I am cold right now LOL)

  2. I think your stripped gift box has an ornament, a pair of soft socks, a signed book and some chocolates Thank you for this awesome giveaway!

      1. I think there is a christmas chocolat gift with some signed books. HOWEVER, my best friend said I should say it was a kitten!

  3. Oh wow, that does sound like a wonderful story! As to what’s in the striped gift box….I’m thinking it’s a gift card!!!

  4. I think the box is actually much larger than it appears on my screen. In my mind it contains an insanely sexy book boyfriend.
